One point deserves to be said frankly: a logo designed for a screen or business card cannot always be engraved as-is. Quantities, deadlines, and project organization
FL Toussaint is an independent workshop, not a factory. Quantities are studied according to the model, produced in batches when relevant, and validated before any commitment. The same logic applies to deadlines: they depend on the model, the level of customization, the materials, the packaging, and the workshop's schedule at the time of the request.
Concretely, this means one thing: anticipate. An end-of-year order is prepared several months before the holidays, not in the second week of December. The earlier the demand comes in, the wider the choice of models and time slots.
How does a corporate order take place?
- Definition of the need — occasion, recipients, intended quantity, desired date, indicative budget if you have one.
- Model selection — among eligible models, depending on the recipients' use.
- Study of personalization — text, logo to adapt, chosen materials and finishes.
- Quotation and visual validation — nothing goes into production without your written approval of both.
- Planned production — the series is scheduled in the workshop calendar and produced in batches.
- Preparation and delivery — final check of each part, agreed packaging, shipping or handover.

A production explained without frills
The knives are designed, adjusted, assembled, finished, and inspected at the Courpière workshop, under my direct responsibility. For series models, some preparatory or specialized operations, such as hardening or grinding, may be entrusted to selected professional partners. The other parts are entirely manufactured in the workshop.
