Born in Thiers in the 19th century, the model takes its name from its handle, whose curves recall those of a violin, an emblematic instrument of the bourgeois salons of the time. Mechanism

• The slipjoint system provides blade retention in both the open and closed positions. Retention is supplied by the spring and a lug that engages the blade, providing safer use.
• The kick stop prevents the cutting edge from dulling against the bottom of the spring.

• Made from 2.5 mm-thick RWL34, this powder-metallurgy steel offers high hardness and remarkable cutting performance. Its martensitic structure and fine grain allow a carefully executed polish.
